Connection Series - Any Question? explores the invisible ties that bind people together. Through figures whose faces are deliberately without expression and whose eyes are buttons, Suanjaya Kencut invites each viewer to project their own emotions, memories and questions. The buttons become a symbol of the threads that connect us, while the silence of the gaze is a reminder that every person carries an inner world others can never fully grasp.
Drawn from a world nourished by Balinese culture, repeating motifs and vibrant colour, this work speaks of the importance of listening, empathy and dialogue.
Its adaptation into embroidery extends that reflection naturally: thread gives the image a new materiality, revealing a tactile depth, a subtle play of light and a physical presence that enrich the composition without altering its spirit. Every stitch carries time, care and craft, turning the work into an object where painting and handwork meet.
Made in Lyon in French workshops certified EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, France’s Living Heritage label), this edition is produced to the highest standards of quality, combining artisanal craftsmanship, innovation and exacting manufacture.

SUPERVISION
The artworks are produced in our workshop in Lyon, embroidered and then mounted on a custom wooden frame. They are delivered ready to hang, with a minimalist presentation that highlights the material and texture of the textile.
An optional frame is available, designed to remain discreet and respect the artwork. We advise against adding glass or plexiglass to preserve the texture and depth of the embroidery.
PACKAGING & SHIPPING
Each artwork is packaged in a custom-made wooden crate with internal foam cut to ensure a perfect fit. This guarantees optimal protection during transport.
Artworks are shipped ready for installation, directly from our workshop in Lyon to collectors and galleries.
