Lorenzo Quinn (born 1966 in Rome) is an Italian sculptor known for his monumental works centred on hands, a universal symbol of creation, connection and humanity. The son of the actor Anthony Quinn, he has developed an artistic language combining classical realism with a contemporary message. His sculptures, exhibited around the world, address themes such as love, peace, solidarity and protection of the environment. Among his most emblematic works is Support (2017), two vast hands holding up the Ca’ Sagredo Hotel in Venice, which has become an iconic piece of the Venice Biennale.
