Entirely self-taught, he first gained recognition through the graffiti movement before progressively developing a visual language rooted in minimalism and post-painterly abstraction. Working with industrial tools, found materials, and gestural systems inherited from street culture, REVOK creates compositions that blur the boundaries between spontaneity and structure, control and accident. His work often investigates authorship, repetition, movement, and the physical trace of gesture, translating the energy of graffiti into a contemporary abstract vocabulary. Over the years, REVOK’s work has been exhibited internationally in institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, and the Pasadena Museum of California Art, alongside numerous gallery exhibitions and special projects worldwide.
