Tristan Eaton is an American artist and designer born in 1978 in Los Angeles.
He started very young in the street art world in Detroit and London, where he made his first urban interventions and developed a marked interest in graphic design and contemporary visual culture.
His work is characterised by a highly detailed style combining digital collage, illustration, mural painting and typographic elements. He creates rich, colourful compositions, often built by layering images drawn from pop culture, art history and advertising.
Eaton is also known for his large murals in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Miami, which have contributed to his international recognition.
Alongside his artistic practice, he has worked as a designer for major companies and institutions, notably in the toy industry (including with Kidrobot), consolidating a world at the crossroads of urban art, design and contemporary pop culture.
