VANGART is a creative textile and embroidery studio founded in 2019. The studio collaborates with renowned contemporary artists to reinterpret their artworks through high-end embroidery. Each piece is meticulously developed in-house, combining artistic sensitivity with advanced textile techniques. VANGART transforms original artworks into limited embroidered editions, produced in France with exceptional craftsmanship. The studio works closely with galleries, institutions, and collectors around the world. Its mission is to elevate embroidery as a contemporary artistic medium while preserving French savoir-faire.
All our fabric suppliers are local: we work exclusively with French partners, mainly based in Lyon, ensuring 100% French production. We select high-quality materials chosen for their structure, texture, and ability to elevate contemporary embroidery. Our artworks can be embroidered on a wide range of textiles -linen, velvet, lace, twill, leather, and more – offering endless possibilities to match each artist’s universe. This commitment to proximity and excellence is part of our DNA: combining textile innovation with exceptional French craftsmanship.

Located in the historic heart of French textile craftsmanship, VANGART draws on this rich legacy to preserve and transmit an exceptional savoir-faire. Each piece is crafted with utmost care, reflecting a tradition we strive to carry forward and showcase around the world.
Each collaboration with an artist tells a different story. Our aim is to capture through embroidery the same depth of emotion found in their original paintings. Every piece is created four-hands: the choice of fabric, colors, and techniques is made together with the artist. Each artist oversees the production to ensure the final work remains as faithful as possible to their vision and their craft.
Since 2025, VANGART has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label. This French State distinction recognizes companies that preserve exceptional, rare, and nationally significant artisanal know-how. Being EPV means our technical mastery, the quality of our production, and our commitment to transmitting traditional skills are officially acknowledged. It is a mark of trust and excellence that drives us every day to maintain the highest standards in everything we create.
We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with artists as diverse as Miguel Chevalier, a leading figure in digital art, Jason Revok, a key name in the American urban art scene, and Raúl de Nieves for the Phillips house. Each collaboration is completely different, with its own universe and creative demands, and each carries an international reach that reflects VANGART’s ambition and global outlook.
Each VANGART piece is signed and numbered, in full accordance with the principles of fine art editions. Every work is produced in a limited quantity and comes with a certificate of authenticity, making it a true collector’s piece. This level of requirement ensures the traceability, rarity, and artistic value of each edition, created in direct collaboration with the artist.
Each VANGART artwork is shipped in a custom wooden case, lined with protective foam for optimal security. Our packaging can be branded with the VANGART identity or personalized to reflect the artist, depending on the collaboration. This bespoke case ensures that every collector’s piece travels safely. We ship our editions worldwide.
