Born in 1983, artist Rero uses an acronym, WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get), in his work.
his works to question both the context of art and the codes of image and intellectual property. His research focuses on the negation of the image through détournement and self-censorship. His creations are strongly influenced by philosophy and sociology, and he addresses the codes of consumer society and obsolescence without passing judgment, but rather encouraging the viewer to do so. The enigmatically crossed-out messages have become the artist's signature.
